Khajuraho, City of Love Temples

In the distant India, the Taj Mahal is not the only place that attracts tourists from all over the world. The small town of Khajuraho is the second most famous tourist destination in this country because of its castles which dating from the period between the 9th and 11th century. Khajuraho is a village located in the central part of India, in the state of Madhya Pradesh. It is located about 620 kilometers southeast of Delhi. The name of the city comes from the Indian word for Date tree. The whole region around the temple was flooded with that kind of tree. City of Khajuraho is an excellent example of a combination of architecture and fantastic sculptures. However, over time, many castles were destroyed by conservative groups because the castles are an entity of erotic sculptures.
